Why is it cool to be a member of the excellent Camp Coker Staff? 

Camp Coker has had more than it's share of excellent Staff members.  Perhaps the best example is a guy we call Jimmy Duffy -- he's the kind of guy who'll make you laugh!

Mr. Jimmy has been on Camp Coker Staff for over 37 years, running the warehouse, the Trading Post, and singing his Song every week.  He's awesome.  Look for our Jimmy Duffy webpage on this site for more about him.

Working on Camp Staff has benefits for you, too.  In addition to teaching, you also have many opportunities to learn!  You have free time to play, and also to take part in Merit Badge classes and Scouting experiences as part of your journey towards Eagle Scout.

The majority of our Staffers are either working on Eagle, very close to achieving it, or have already reached that pinnacle of Scouting, and are still truckin' on.

Come to Coker to give of yourself, and to receive from others who are doing the same thing!

Print the Application, fill it out, and send it to the Council Office, or fax it to (843) 669-6306.  It's worth it.  You get to help hundreds of Scouts have an awesome experience at Camp Coker, get to know Duffy, and just maybe discover a few things about yourself.
